Hey everyone! So today I checked my ACT scores, and despite my initial excitement, I got kinda let down. My Composite was a 34 (which I’m fine with), but I got a 29 on the English section. Along with the essay, which I got an 8 in, it brought my combined english/writing score to a 27… Considering this was my first time taking the test, should I retake it? I got a 35 in all the other sections. I’m planning on applying to HYPS so I’m worried that this might hurt me. Thanks for your time!
