@677sam, I meant that if you don’t get accepted for your major, you are then considered for the general studies. If I don’t get into my major, my father won’t allow me to go in undecided, so I feel a lot of pressure.

And yeah, with that effort you have made, it will look great to them.
I say, you shouldn’t have a hard time getting in, even if you don’t have a very high science score.

@internet
I still am. I asked about it in an earlier post, but no one answered me. I hope the scores still come out tonight for people who still remain “registered.”

@fridac2 Thanks for the encouragement! I’m sure you can get in too. Being Hispanic in Illinois isn’t huge, but it certainly helps. At least you’re not a total gringo like me hahaha

Can someone answer this for me? I am aiming for at least a 27 on the ACT. I have googled this countless times, but I can’t find an answer.

How many questions would you have to miss in each section to at least get a 27?

Also would the sub scores of,
E: 28
M: 20
R: 26
S: 25
suffice for a 27 composite?

Also, the english score does not weigh in your writing score correct?
AND, what is a good length of a above average essay on the ACT, providing it has good content.

Sorry if you have all heard these questions before. I just read through this entire thread haha. Alright, thanks if you answer!

Took mine w.o writing so I got mine in the mail earlier this week.
English:23
Math:28
Reading:33
Science:24
Composite:27
Pretty well for my first try I guess.
