ACT June 11th 2011 Scores

Took the ACT with writing in June 11. My sis got her scores in the mail today(didn’t take writing). I was wondering if my ACT mc score will be availiable 1:00am eastern time zone on monday?

@allstaruk

It should be up Monday morning, but everyone keeps saying 1 am EST. As far as I remember, my scores were posted up at 2 am for the February test administration.

So is it a 1 or 2?

…

it is supposed to be 1 AM Eastern but there’s a lot of traffic on the website or they have not loaded all the scores yet when you checked so that’s probably why there was a small delay. 1 AM Eastern, 12 CST. just a little more than 2 days. get ready

Mail. I live in New Mexico.

D got scores in the mail today for ACT w/o writing. She was not happy because she had the same composite as last time.

I got my scores in the mail today too.

This wait is killing me :(

Sent from my PC36100 using CC App

Does anyone know what happens if you switch from no writing to writing at the test center it days they will bill me 15 bucks but I haven’t gotten anything does this mean I won’t get my scores on time because I owe fees which is something ACT lists on the website as a reason for late scores

Seriously. I NEEEEEED these puppies now. And by puppies I mean scores.

I’m a concerned mom and I’m looking for some input please.
My kid is a happy-go-lucky student. He is going to be a junior this fall, is captain of a varsity sport at a college prep high school, competes in debate, and commutes an hour each way to school. This doesn’t leave much time for studying. His GPA is not stellar, probably around a 3.6, maybe 3.7. Studying just isn’t important to him.
Fortunately he scores well on tests, an 800 on the Math Sat II, and a 35 on the ACT, he will take the SAT and PSAT this fall.
This year he will take four AP classes and there is a chance he could increase his GPA if more emphasis was put on grades.
His motto is, “I don’t want to spend my high school years building a resume for college. I simply want to enjoy high school.”
So my question is this, do I put carrots out to try to encourage him to apply himself more, or do I just accept him for who he is and respect the choices he is making even though I know there are consequences down the road?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

^dont’ be concerned… your kid is fine… maybe motivate him a little, but don’t become strict… his stats are fine.

^i agree. You should consider yourself very fortunate that you have a son that is so smart and all around as a sophomore going to be a junior. I am going to be a senior and highly motivated, yet it has taken me 3 times to TRY and hope to get a 30 on the ACT and i work incredibly hard just to keep a 3.5 unweighted GPA at a college prep high school. Don’t push or be strict on him too much. let him enjoy high school, but just remind or encourage him a little to try different things during the summers (volunteer a couple of hours in the morning at a hospital, etc) instead of waisting it. His stats look awesome though you should be really proud!

@ Tarheels…

Pretty much what soccermom said. I think it come out 12 central time zone, therefore 1 @ eastern time zone. There could be a lot of traffic on the website, but I doubt it because not many people would take it in June.

Finally West Coast tested

Idk… nervous to see these scores.

Do you guys think that February is probably the easiest time to test in terms of the curve? Because New York doesn’t test that date and I’m assuming some of the highest scores come from that state.

@notatruetarheel
I think the curve is established before the test is given, so the people who take the test don’t affect the curve.
