Here are my scores for the ACT:

Composite- 29

English- 31
Math- 32
Reading - 28
Science- 25

Do colleges mostly look at Math and English scores, or do they look at the composite only?
Also, which colleges focus more on the Math and English sections? (if there are any)

Thanks

Haha that’s nothing. I took it back in December and got 35 on English, 35 on Math, 36 on Reading and a 28 on science

Have you taken it more than once? I would suggest to. The first time I took the ACT I got a composite of 30, but a science of 23 (YIKES- it just really took me by surprise). Needless to say I prepped for that science section like my life depended on it. I ended up with a 33 composite, including a 33 in science!
I went up ten points just by preparing myself for it more. So probably you could really get that science up so it isn’t even a concern. That is, if you haven’t already taken it multiple times without much luck.
But either way, a 29 is a very impressive composite score. I know sometimes on these forums I lose sight of the fact that just because it isn’t a 36, doesn’t mean it’s not a good score. Enjoy the success!
