Does anyone have any recommendations or test taking tips for the math section of the ACT? It doesn't seem particularly impossible, just wondering if anyone can lend any tips, specifically for the geometry section.

first off, for geometry make sure you know every possible rule by heart. every shape, line, and angle has its own rules and they should be like second nature to you.

Associate certain concepts with things you see. I’m guessing from personal experience that you aren’t able to solve a question because it looks like it doesn’t have enough information (possibly, maybe you have another problem idk). If you see a triangle always ask yourself what you know about it and what kind of triangle it is. (equal side? angles?). Specific like 30-60-90, 45-45-90, etc. Always fill in the things that you already know until you don’t know anymore (angles, stuff w\e). When you still can’t solve then you look at geometrical relations that you’ve previously learned. Like a checklist. And always use information given to you. If the problem says the pitcure is a regular hexagon or w\e they call them, all its angles are equal, don’t forget details like that. You need those to solve the problem.

That is the main problem I seem to have, for example, my main troubles exist with graphs, coordinate, and plane geometry, because I usually try to go about them inappropriately. So bascially, I should familiarize myself with keywords and certain terms, in order to figure out the process or formula I need to use to solve the problem. That helps me a great deal, thank you very much.
