So I took the ACT on the October test date. I originally did not add any colleges to my free score report list when I registered for the exam. However, a day or two after the exam I went back into my account and added 3-4 schools. Yet when I log into my ACT Student account it doesn't list anything under the "Score Reports requested with Registration" nor under the "Additional Score Reports requested." What's worse is when I look at "Score Report sent to High School:" it lists my high school when I explicitly remember picking the option to not send the score to my high school.

Any idea what could be going on?
Should I just call ACT? The last thing I want to do is pay $40 for these scores to be sent, when I know I already requested them as part of my "free reports".

You aren’t alone on this one. When I initially registered, I didn’t insert any schools, but a few days before the exam (well before the deadline to request free score reports) I put in 4 schools, and when I checked after test scores came out nothing was there except my high school one. Bit of a loss of what to do too.

@rustedandroids I"m very comforted to see I"m not the only one.
I just got off the phone with ACT, unfortunately because I called after 6pm est their records department they weren’t really able to give me information.
They only could tell me that it didn’t look like I selected any schools when I registered. Interested they told me that I had sent scores for the June test I took, yet I explicitly remember having cancelled those free score choice selections the day after the test (so that’s a little worrying).

So I guess I am just going to give them a call at their “records” department (319-337-1313) and hope things get resolved. Little nervous because I need those scores to be sent ASAP since I’ve got some early action schools waiting for them.

I should note that I already lost about $40 for the Michigan state wide exam because apparently for some reason, they don’t post the free score report school you picked on your ACT Student account, you actually have to call to find out which ones you picked. This is quite frustrating considering I spend $40 last month sending my State scores to schools who probably already received them.

Well, end was result was they claim they have no record of me requesting scores not be sent, nor any record of me going back in after the Oct test to add “free scores”, nor will they give me a refund for a test I accidentally sent twice (due to the fact that they don’t list the score you pick with your registration for state administered tests).

I’ll admit for all I know, I very well could have not clicked a “submit” button when I went back in too change where my scores were being sent, but to have that happen twice, is just mind boggling.

It’s also pretty disappointing that ACT doesn’t even send you a confirmation email for something like score-report changes. Such a thing could have prevented all this trouble.

But end result is ACT has another $50 of my money.

wait I’m in the same situation. I added some schools after I took the test, which are listed under “Additional Score Reports Requested” but not under “where to send your scores.” Ive also checked with the colleges and they haven’t received my scores, even though I clearly paid for them and have a receipt… I’m so lost…
