ACT Practice way too easy?

Hey guys

On my practice tests, especially in the Science and Reading sections, I score very high. I miss maybe 3 questions MAX, am usually in the 33-36 range.

However, on the real thing, I score pathetically. I got a 29 and 28 in reading and science respectively last time around. I have taken it 5 times and want to be done (I want a 32+!!) and only have a highest of 29 right now! I feel confident everytime because I score so highly on practices and even while taking the real thing but am disappointed when I get my results back. I know I am capable of scoring higher.

Help?

Oh, and these are the books I use:

REAL ACT
McGraw-Hill’s (got a few of em) Just finished a few practice tests on here and scored 34-35
Barron’s <–I find these to be harder than the real thing and kind of an esteem killer lol so I avoid it.

use Barrons. The only reason you say it’s a esteem killer is because it’s a challenge. Many 36 scorers score 30 on Barrons, and it’s good to raise your score instantly.

Princeton review was pretty accurate for me if you want to try that.

Hahahah…we established like a week ago that McGraw Hills is a horrible book. And here’s to proving that they provide you with false confidence.
