ACT question!!!!

Do colleges take the best of your scores from the math, english, reading, and science sections like they do for the sections on the SAT? Or do they only take the best composite?

another question
If I've sent my SAT scores to a college but they are worse than my ACT (which I also sent) do the colleges consider both? I know the schools need an official score report from either the ACT/SAT, but I'm really worried that my bad SAT I/II scores will overshadow my (unexpected) high ACT score!

They don't "superscore" the ACT scores. In other words, they only take your best composite for one sitting.

And if your ACT is really that much better than the SATs, don't worry about it. They'll look at your best. Of course, you can always retake the SAT IIs depending on how "low" they are.

Agreed 10 char
