Hey, I'm a junior and recently took the ACT. I'm satisfied with my score and was planning to send in just my ACT along with the required SAT IIs to all my schools next year. However, I heard that Princeton really favors the SAT to the ACT. Does this mean if I send in the ACT, I will almost automatically get rejected? Please explain!!!Thanks.

You will not get rejected automatically - there is no preference shown to the SAT over the ACT.

Princeton has changed that policy. Now Princeton, like all highly selective colleges, will accept either major brand name of college admission test. (As you already know, it also expects SAT Subject Tests, and is rare in its desire to see scores from three of those.)

Good luck in your application. Nothing to worry about as to the testing.

Thanks for the replies. I can let out a sigh of relief now.
