It's not needed for internationals, but I gave it a try anyway.

First try, can't retake, because I want to apply for the next spring term and the deadline is August 15th for internationals.

Report or not report? Very much appreciate any input!

Do NOT report that ACT score. It is very very low for Columbia. The middle 50% of admitted students had an ACT score between 32-35. Keep in mind that it will be even more so difficult for you to be admitted since you are an international. You MUST have a highly competitive SAT or TOEFL scores, since your ACT is very low, and highly competitive extracurricular activities. The acceptance rate for Columbia was 7.4%, and out of that 7.4% only about 17% were international. Now I’m not trying to scare you, but I’m just informing you of how brutal the competition is, and it is even more harsh for internationals.

Those are probably CC stats. General studies is significantly different. The score seems low to me and I wouldn’t report it, but I don’t think that FOR GS it will keep you out. The essay and rec letters are far more important anyways.
