ACT score prediction thread

do u remember if it asked something like “which best conveys a positive __” or if it asked “which is the MOST positive”?

like in other words, does anyone remember if the word “most” was in there?

Lol, everyone on the ACT forum is trying to figure out this problem, Mabs… I also put a celebration of, but I’m not sure… A chance to experience sounds better, but a celebration of is definitely more positive, but kind of awkward when you put it in the sentence, so I don’t know…

And I bombed the reading, for sure! Dx

yeah that question could very well decide whether I get a 34 or a 35 - soo stressed about it lol

English- 30
Math- 32
Reading- 28
Science- 26

Composite 29

I hope for a 30, i got a 28 the first time.

M: 36
r:29-30
w:30
s:32
c:33

I have no idea! I got to fill in every answer but still have no idea! I’m freaking out because I don’t know how I did. AHHHH!!!

im thinkin E-34 M-34 R-32 S-28

Around when are we going to get our scores?

I think I saw Nov. 10th on here a couple times.

November 10th 1 am

Predicted:
English: 33
Math: 35-36
Reading: 32
Science: 33

Hopeful:
English: 34
Math: 36
Reading: 33
Science: 33

Practical:
English: 32
Math: 35
Reading: 30
Science: 33

Bad:
English: 32
Math: 34
Reading: 29
Science: 31

Bad:
Eng:28
Math:31/32
Reading:27/28
Sci : 27/28
Don’t dare to think optimistically.

34~35 on October ACT.

Hoping better thn my old 26! =/

the scores come out tonight 1 am right?

Eng: 32/33
Math: 33/34
Rdg: 31/32
Sci: 30

They come out at 1AM EST Tuesday (tomorrow night)

I think I got either a 31 or 32, I feel like I missed 4-5 on each section

Hope to better my Sept scores of
M - 29
R- 34
ENG. -32
SCI - 36
but my prediction is that I really have no idea because this test was way easier for certain secton and much harder for other sec

guys, remember that ACT does not score all the tests at the same time. like they say on their web page

“Scores are processed and added each week, usually each Wednesday and Friday. Normally, all scores are reported by 8 weeks after the test date.”

reason for that is that any curve for an ACT test has nothing to do with the results of that test date. any curve is based on past performance over many tests involving similar questions. that is why they can send out scores for the Oct. test date each week, starting next week, until they are finished.

but this is the first time that it has taken so long to switch from registered to tested. me and everyone who has taken the test before usually switched to tested a few days after the test. who knows, maybe they are doing what the SAT does and will wait until all the tests are scored -so that a curve is based on results of that test - before posting scores on line.

Last Two ACT (Feb 2008/2009):
Composite: 28/29
English: 29/31
Math: 23/24
Reading: 33/31
Science: 26/29

Hoping:
English: 31
Reading:34
Science:32
Math: 24 (I totally bombed it)
Composite: 30

eh…well, last time (sept) i felt that english was soo easy and i probably only missed 1…well, i ended up with a 32. and this time, i felt the english was a little bit harder than last time, but still doable. haha…i wonder what i’ll end up with if i guesstimate a 32 actually…LOL…

what i’m trying to say is… this score prediction stuff is dumb. as are chance me threads. haha.
