ACT Scores vs SAT Scores

<p>I took both tests, don't know whether that's a popular choice, but I did it anyway.</p>

<p>My ACT Results are:
Math: 35
English: 35
Reading: 32
Science: 36</p>

<p>Composite: 35</p>

<p>Essay: 8</p>

<p>My SAT Results are:
Critical Reading: 750
Maths: 790
Writing: 750 (Essay:9)</p>

<p>Total: 2290</p>

<p>How do these scores compare? The Percentiles were higher in some parts on the ACT and on some on the SATs. Which of these scores is better? I sent both to the same universities, will the lower one of these two somehow negatively affect my application?</p>

<p>When in doubt, send both to colleges. They will use the one they believe is the higher and thus there is not a negative impact, which in your case would be impossible anyway.</p>
