<p>injennious, I’m sure a 10 in writing is excellent. If my kid, with a 36 E and a 6 for his essay ended up with a 95%ile Eng/Wr score, I’m sure a 35E and a 10 essay is even better. The percentiles matter more than the actual score. You’re lucky. It sounds like no more testing for you.</p>

<p>Do percentiles really matter for the ACT? theres such a discrepancy between SAT percentiles and the equivalent ACT percentiles. Like a 29 on the ACT is 93 percentile, but the equivalent SAT score for a 29 is 1920, which is not 93 percentile. Do colleges look at SAT equivalent scores on the ACT or percentiles?</p>
<p>For those of you that took the ACT multiple times, was this Sept ACT considered an increase or decrease to your previous score, and by how many points? I haven’t gotten my scores back (took the late testing), so I’m assuming the curve will be different as well. But I just want to know…don’t want to end up with a 30 again.</p>

I am ecstatic! 34 was my goal. The only one that didn’t go up was Science, which is okay. I was worried that it would go down, actually. It was harder than the previous time.</p>
