Does USC superscore ACTs? I received conflicting opinions on this. I cannot find information concerning this on their website.

Try this:

http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/faq/admission_standards.html

They actually don’t mention it in FAQs. I checked multiple times.
However, I emailed them and they said they do not superscore ACT. (In case anyone is interested.)

^Yes they do mention it in the FAQs. In the link knightcub provided, go to the 9th question, "What standardized tests does USC require for admission?"and click on it. Under that question you will find the following information, “For students taking the ACT, USC will record the highest composite score.”

Thanks @knightcub for the link.

But they don’t say ‘the highest composite score’ is from super scoring or just from one setting. That’s the part that’s really confusing me.

It seems clear to me. Maybe it was confusing to you because you were looking for a loophole so you could use a higher score (nothing wrong with that - you always want to put your best foot forward). The “Composite Score” is reported on the ACT score report and SC says they will RECORD it not “calculate” it. USC doesn’t superscore the ACT -and they never have as far as I know.

“But they don’t say ‘the highest composite score’ is from super scoring or just from one setting.”

The highest composite score can only be from one sitting. Highest composite = synonym for highest sitting.

You can report whatever you want, but none of it will matter once they get the official ACT report lol
