ACT vs. SAT

<p>I took both. I did far better on the ACT (34) than on the SAT. Naturally, I like the ACT more, but here in California, the SAT is far more popular and is accepted at all colleges.</p>

<p>I defintely think that the ACT is a little easier. For one thing, you can study and improve your ACT score, vritually as much as you would like. THink about it, it tests the stuff that you have learned in high school, so if you buy a book (I used "act for braniacs") you can study your self to a 34. The SAT is more standardized and you cannot really LEARN more things to do better. The SAT I think correlates a little better with intelligence, but I would defintely go with taking the ACT if you dont mind prepping for it. Trust me. You learn how to take tests quickly and then learn the material, 36 all the way! I did not get a 36 but i did well!</p>
