I have a question about activating my financial aid and was wondering if anybody is having the same issue as me. I'm trying to activate my financial aid but the link that allows me to activate my financial aid is not "highlighted" (I can't click it). I've tried different computers (Windows, Mac ) and different browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.) but I still can't click it. I called the Financial Aide office but the guy who picked up was extremely rude and just said "I can't help you any other way". Anyone know a solution?
Here is what it looks like - notice how the link is gray.

Also has any continuing students heard back regarding scholarships?

I don’t even have that option yet.

Is there a reason you did activate it earlier, like when it was awarded before the end of Spring semester? I could have sworn there was a time frame within which you had to accept your aid, but maybe I’m confused.

As to the other question, I know of several people who heard back about their scholarships already. I haven’t, but I had a feeling I’d be screwed out of them this coming year since Spring was my first semester at UT and I didn’t have a UT GPA at the time of my applications. I was hoping they’d hold some of their decisions until after Spring grades were posted, but maybe not. Sort of irritates me - I worked my butt off to make Honors and now I have to wait until the next school year to hopefully get rewarded for it. le sigh…

Wait, so they base scholarships on fall semester??

Some do, others wait until Spring grades come in. Most of the people I know (3rd year and up) heard back before the semester was actually over, a few actually got word during finals week and clearly grades hadn’t been posted then.

And my previous post should say “didn’t activate”
