Activities outside of school?

<p>Hey all,</p>

<p>I do karate and swimming. Swimming, I take lessons and I'm at a lifeguard level. Karate, I've been to a couple tournaments but I wouldn't say I compete regularly. On the common app, do these two activities go under 'Other Club/Activity' or 'Other JV/Varsity'? They're both outside of school.</p>

<p>I would put both swimming and karate under Club/Activity. JV/Varsity implies that they are school teams for a sport not mentioned “above”.</p>
