ACTs in February??

Please Help Me!

I was a SCEA applicant to Yale and was deferred. Now I'm wondering if I should take the ACTs and have them sent in. Unfortunately, the next test date is February. Yale said that there is no guarantee that Feb ACTs will arrive in time. I've already taken the ACT once, however, and have my writing score from that time. So will Yale recieve my ACT Scores quicker in Febuary if I choose not to take the writing section?

Actually, is it even helpful for me to take the ACTs? If I were to get a 35, would it boost my application?
SATs- 740CR, 780M, 770W (but those three scores are from 3 different test dates)

Last time I took the ACTs, I got a 32 (35E, 36M, 31R, 27S) but it was a 32.25 (so 1 question away from a 33) and I never even studied... I think if I study the Reading and Science sections really hard I can get at least a 34 by February comes around. Is it worth it? Also, last time I took the ACT I got a 10 on the writing... should I take it again (but I probably won't if it's going to delay my score being sent to Yale)?

Please help! Thanks!

I really don't think that you need to take the ACT. Your SAT scores look great! :)

A 2290 is fine, I probably wouldn't retake.

thanks guys, but if my SATs are good, then why wasn't I accepted to Yale early?

Here's the rest of my stats:

Lol, you should know better than to ask a question like that. Standardized test scores are only one part of the package. Your application is strong, but seems to lack a "spark."
