Just a warning that for some susceptible people, it is possible to develop an annoying erratic heart beat (an extra heart beat) which is harmless but irritating, if you take I think it was Adderal (may have been Ritalin) in mid-adulthood to treat possible ADD.

Happened to my brother. He got the symptoms immediately after taking the drug, didn't think it was related, and so took a couple more doses over a period of 2-3 days and finally discontinued.

He continues to have the extra ventricular heart beat on a regular basis now. He has a strong heart, etc. as he is in great shape, but it is annoying to have this.

My nephew takes the same drug (since age 4) and has had ab solutely no reaction like this.
