adding a subject test on test day?

i registered to take the US history and chemistry subject tests in may, and i registered for math II in june. i just decided that i'm waaaay too stressed/busy to study for us history for may, and i want to do it in june instead.

however, it's too late to change my admission ticket or add the test on the collegeboard website... but i read that i can add a subject test on the day of the test, so I'm planning on adding the US history one when i go in to take the math II in june.

has anyone had experience with adding a subject test on the day of the test? do they ever "run out of materials" or not allow you do it?

if there is a chance that I will NOT be able to add the USH test on the june date, then I will just toughen up and take the may one.

I’m a bit confused by your post but yes, you can add a test the day of the test and they’ll just bill you for the additional test. I’ve never taken subject tests  but I believe you will receive a booklet with all tests included.

The only exception to adding a test is a foreign language with listening, I guess they need to know how much equipment to bring to the test site.

[SAT Test Day](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools)

you can definitely add a test on that day.

It really doesn’t make a difference if you switch either. Even if you registered for Math II, you could take physics instead. As HighlandMom correctly said, you get a booklet with all of the tests for that test date.

hmm…so for clarification, if you add another test on test day, you get billed for the test that you add. However, do you get billed an extra “late” charge?

OK so nothing happens if I change Math I to Math II, no bill added?

You will get charged if you add an extra test, but not if you change one you already signed up for to a different one.
