So it says "Please upload a document here if you wish to provide details of circumstances or qualifications not reflected in the application." Would it be a good idea to talk about my hindrance in applying for a specific major? For example, most schools need 3 letters of recommendation from music teachers, recordings and scores. I never had formal training within music but learned everything I currently know by self study. I would love to major in music and understand how it works, its the attaining of the requirements thats hindering me in actually applying for a music major.

So my inclination towards music has always been evident, ever since my freshman year of high school. I never took music classes in high school during my first two years because I didn't have enough room within my schedule. In my Junior year, I took Choir when I had the room because I thought I would learn music composition and theory since our school didn't offer AP music theory. I'm proficient on the guitar and I love learning about music. I never took lessons but learned everything about music from reading books on theory & composition, by studying music scores, watching videos, and from magazines because my family didn't have money to pay for music lessons. All in all, I want to study music for the next four years of undergraduate study. Although I'm interested in Biology as well, I want to at least try to make an attempt. I feel the same way for both subjects but just letting a chance of actual music study at a university slip, seems like a bad thing to do.
