I also have a unique financial situation that will cause me to need significant aid to attend school. Between my freshman and sophomore years my family had to move to Oregon because my mom lost her job and our house was too expensive. Now this year, my mom has been laid off again and we are in the process of short-selling the house. Its not like we were incredibly wealthy to begin with but the rest of year is going to be very rough financially and I am worried about how we'll be able to afford college. How will my mom's job situation factor into the financial aid process? How will selling our house at a loss effect aid? What kind of aid can I expect from the schools I am interested in?

Thank you for reading and for any advice you can offer
