I visited Wellesley and I fell in LOVE.

Any kind of feedback regarding my chances, what I should improve on and more.. would be GREAT! Thx

i think u have a good chance. but then again, u'd be surprised at some of the things that happen with college admissions. ur GPA is kinda low, but ur SAT's are fine (but definitely retake them if u think u can do better!) also i think that ur EC's are BEAUTIFUL!!! they definitely show leadership and each carries some experience that can definitely be used as an advantage in the essay or during ur interview (i never had an interview and i didn't apply early evaluation, though i'd recommend it, but i was accepted!!! whooo!!!) nevertheless, remember ur essays are about u. what do u love. what do u have a passion for! u have many great experiences. use them, but don't abuse them! good luck. great job on ur hard work!!!

i think if you brought your SAT's up a little, you'd have a realllly great chance...
hey, just wondering, but i haven't visited Wellesley yet and from you post you said that you fell in love with it...i guess i'm interested, but not really "in love"...did the visit change your view? is there anything in particular you really like about wellesley?

well.. i liked Wellesley before visiting, but I fell in love when I visited. Everyone there is really nice. It had the best campus tour I had ever been on. I also got to talk to the Dean of Admissions and there was a girl who was waitlisted with me. This girl was trying to show that Wellesley was still her first choice, etc, etc.. and the dean of admissions was so nice to her. Usually they are like, well we have a lot of competitive applicants bla bla bla.. but she actually said " I will keep my fingers crossed, etc, etc." Also the day I went, it was sort of cold out, and the ladies at the admissions office brought me hot chocolate and made me feel at home. Everyone was so nice, and all of the students and faculty were there to help each other. I felt like I will become the women I want to become if I graduate from there! after visiting Wellesley I didn't feel like I needed to visit any other school!

Thanks so much! The encouragement was really nice. So I guess you are a Wellesley graduate? Is it as hard to get in as they say it is? I mean Wellesley is the 4th best liberal art school in the country! Do they look heavily on SAT 2?Any last minute application advice?
