Admission dates for BA/MD medical program and colleges

Brief introduction about myself. I am currently a 12th grade senior and I wish to apply for some of the BA/MD programs if possible. Because of my current grade and SAT scores, I will be applying for the regular application and not apply for early decision.

Recently I found out that in Boston University the deadline for the BA/MD Medical program’s deadline was in September 15th. This to me seemed shocking because 1st the deadline is already past, and second most schools early decision/action deadline isn’t even up yet or just ended.

So just out of curiosity, do you apply to the BA/MD program after you enroll into the College or is it the same procedure with regular admission? Can you apply for it after you enroll into the college? And also, can I get some information about deadlines regarding BA/MD and schools that provide it.

Thank You.

It says here it’s november 15th: http://www.bu.edu/admissions/apply/freshman/critical-dates/

Looks like deadline is early.

??? WHAT has already past? Sept 15??? what calendar are you looking at?

@futuredoc39, if you go here under “Accelerated Medical Program”: http://www.bu.edu/admissions/academics/programs/pre-med/, you’ll see the deadline for their 7 year BS/MD program is November 15th. Even then, the Early Decision deadline for BU University is November 1st: http://www.bu.edu/admissions/apply/freshman/critical-dates/

I could be mistaken but most BS/MD programs don’t really do an early decision type of thing when it comes to acceptances to these programs.

Most of the time you apply to both the university and the BS/MD at once.

@mom2collegekids
Thank you for the response.
aaand Oh crap. I read November as September. My mistake. Thank you @Roentgen and @iwannabe_Brown for the heads up.

I took 2 tests and my super-score currently is 2110.

putting it separately

Test 1: (Total :1990)
Reading: 630
Writing: 560
Essay: 7
Math: 800
(This may not be accurate. the college board site was down when I was writing this so I wasn’t able to get the accurate number)

Test 2: (Total: 2020)
Reading: 680
Writing: 630
Essay: 7
Math: 710

I still am a little curious about this “Super Score” thing. But as far as I know, In CommAp you put the highest score you get on each section, and as long as the scores don’t look suspicious they don’t question it.

I will be taking the test once more in October, and I will be doing three SAT2’s in November. Bio Chem and Math.
