<p>These are admission deadlines for the University of Southern California for the 2012-2013 academic year:</p>

<p>December 1, 2011</p>

<p>Application deadline for MERIT SCHOLARSHIP consideration for the class entering in 2012</p>

<p>January 10, 2012</p>

<p>Application deadline for freshmen class entering in 2012</p>

<p>February 1, 2012</p>

<p>Application deadline for transfer students and for transfer student scholarship consideration</p>

<p>USC is using the common application for the first time. A supplement is included.</p>

<p>SPECIAL NOTE.....</p>

<p>There are early application dates for these schools at USC:</p>

<p>Thornton School of Music--December 1, 2011
For certain majors a competitive audition is required.</p>

<p>School of Cinematic Arts--December 1, 2011
Additional portfolio/supplement may be required depending on major choice</p>

<p>School of Theatre--December 1, 2011
For certain majors a competitive audition or portfolio is required</p>

<p>Check with the Office of Admissions for additional requirements. For example, the School of Architecture requires an extensive portfolio.</p>
