<p>Anyone from CA got the decision via mail yet? I lost my admission ID so I'm waiting for snail mail. I have not received it yet. Can I call or email CMU for my admission ID?</p>
<p>From what I’ve seen on the CMU Admissions Facebook page, they will only snail mail your admission ID. (I think there’s an exception to this if you didn’t include your social security number in your application, or something like that. They just don’t want to risk giving away your confidential indentifying information to someone who isn’t really you.)</p>
<p>Yes still missing the letter in NY too, and I also lost my i.d. When I requested it last weekend by email, they replied saying that since they had already mailed my decision, there would be no point mailing the admission i.d. again. They will not email it or tell you over the phone, but the decision letter will contain the i.d.</p>
