Dean: Misleading perhaps but i really would have appreciated it if this info was easily found on various college websites. While maybe intuitive to those using them all the time, when youre looking at 5,6,8 or more, there is nothing intuitive about it. And I’ll say it again: schools know my kid did not pony up all her application fees and she listed my email on her application. While I think my investment should get me a stamp or two, I think an email to parents even saying we sent your kid an email, decisions are delivered via (insert method here) etc would be greatly appreciated. The swamping of student email is simply over the top from both schools they never applied to and those they have and God forbid they failed to opt out of emails on standardized tests. It’s kind of absurd really.

Re-stating my question. Which of these are going off last year’s dates and which are actually announced for this year?

No one knows the sources, but some of the OP dates were wrong. Some have been corrected. The short reports on individual schools mixed in with the full lists are probably more accurate. I think schools don’t post dates earlier because they are racing to get done (and beat others) but don’t know for sure, so they just say by Apr 1 or by Apr 15.

Is the March 27th mail date from Georgetown from last year? I’m assuming it is since they don’t usually announce when they’re mailing letters…

OP states they were just copied from last year. Need to compare original list with current to see updates. Would have made more sense to start small with known dates from this year and add to list as more were revealed. Not a very useful list.

[Edited for Northwestern, basing it off on the trend of the last four years to release decisions on the fourth Thursday of the month.]
