<p>So, what's the deal with Smith's comparatively high admission rate? (53% overall, 80-something % ED)</p>
<p>I understand that Smith has a self-selecting pool, what with being a women's college, but it's admission rate is still quite a bit higher than that of Wellesley, Barnard, or Bryn Mawr... any reason for this?</p>
<p>It's not that the higher admission rate will deter me, I just don't want to be missing out on something vital like fine print that says "only apply if you have a raisin allergy" or something like that.</p>
