Admission to CSULB, please help!

Hello, this is my first time creating a thread so lets see how this goes...

I have a problem :/ I got accepted to CSULB as a "beach pathways" student. Basically this means I was rejected but then was able to complete an application for them to give me a second look over.

My problem is that I am almost positive I am going to receive an F in ceramics which is an A-G course. I took drama my junior year and passed both semesters so I already have the art requirement, but I don't know if I am still in trouble for that F. But I feel like since I wasn't even admitted the first time around I am going to be one of the first students that they let go. :c

My major is Linguistics if that helps? I have a passing grade in all my other classes, three of which are APs, it was just that dang ceramics I struggled in :/

If you are in the same situation as me or know anything about it please respond!
It would be very much appreciated <3

It’s tough to tell your chances of getting in because of how vague the information available in the post. But, basically, it all boils down to whether or not you fulfilled the requirements for admission.

Do you have 60 units?
(Without the ceramics class, would you have 60 units?)
Have you completed the GE’s?
(Is the golden 4 completed?)
Are all the areas in the IGETC plan or CSU breadth plan fulfilled?

If you answered yes to any of those, then you’ll probably get in.
Then again, like what I said before, the information provided in your post is vague so my opinion is properly incorrect.
