<p>How does the admissions office make the final decision for acceptance? is it a committee vote, dean of admissions' decision, etc.? If anyone knows, that would be great.</p>

<p>Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe each application gets read by two different people. Two yes votes makes an admission and two no votes makes a rejection. If one is a yes, and one is no, it goes to committee, where the application is reviewed and decide by vote.</p>
<p>Of course that says nothing about the guidelines used by the readers to make the decisions. </p>
