Hi! I am applying to Rutgers college of pharmacy and I’m getting pretty nervous because everyone who applied at my school, got their decision AND got in. This is the only school not to have gotten back to me ( I got into USciences in Philly, and Thomas Jefferson) Should I get nervous that I haven’t gotten anything from Rutgers?
Also, What are my chances of getting in.

Out of the ten schools, I’ve only received 1 rejection and 1 waitlist. The rest acceptances.

I don’t think that we can answer with no idea what your grades are.
However, in general no news is just that, no news. I know that this is a nervous time for many high school seniors. However, it is still very early in the cycle. I have seen at least one student wait a lot longer than they expected and then get very good news (but from a different school). I hope that the same will happen to you. My grades are in B B+ A range I think my GPA is around 3.4 but I am not entirely sure.

Rutgers Pharmacy is the most competitive school to get into at Rutgers, and your SAT score is severely below their 50 percentile range of accepted applicants. An acceptance into both EMSOP and SOE are highly unlikely with your current stats, as Rutgers is very SAT-orientated. Make sure you check out the stats the university kindly provided (below) and best of luck with your future endeavors!

I mean there’s still a chance tho, and even if it’s slim, it’s still a chance. But next to the admissions profile it says: “Middle 50%” means that 25% of regularly admitted first-year students exceeded these ranges and 25% of regularly admitted first-year students had scores and grade-point averages below these ranges. Rutgers conducts a holistic review of each student’s application that takes into consideration many more factors than test scores and cumulative grade-point average.
@pharmacySchoolOrBust @random1029 Have you received any news? The second wave just came out. I got accepted into SAS NB and SEBS but pharmacy still says “in process”.
I Have not gotten any response yet its low key freaking me out.
Do you think they reject everyone on the 31st?

@pharmacySchoolOrBust Thank you! I hope they don’t reject everyone on the 31st; that would just be cruel. Tbh EMSOP is the only reason why I’m still considering Rutgers. I’ve already been accepted to Purdue Pharmacy so now I’m waiting on Rutgers and UPitt.
