Admissions...essays???

myspace pones facebook, tomthecat. w-t-f is a poke, anyways? stupid facebook. lol

"Poke

* An action of tapping and/or softly jabbing another person using a finger, stick, or similar object to gain their attention.

"

Haha. Sorry. Lol. (I know you meant it rhetorically!)
WHAT. No way. Facebook > Myspace.
Myspace is no fun because nobody in this area uses Myspace.
Oh, and it's basically ruled by scenesters who can't spell. D:

MySpace is so much easier. Plus it's funner (is that even a word? lol) because you can edit your page plus it takes a long time to edit and delete photos on FaceBook. Facebook is a waste of time plus MySpace has, like, 10 times the amount of users than FaceBook.

MySpace>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>FaceBook

getting off topic aren't we?

these essay examples are starting to make me feel real bad...

especially after i've already submitted some of my applications

if the limit is 500 words and i have 513, should i carry on cutting down? or do you think that that's ok?

So I'm doing my Choate application online, and they tell me to copy+paste my short answers and essays in. I've already word counted my answers in the word document, and my essay is exactly 3499 characters...one less than maximum limit. But when I pasted it in, it said they had automatically deleted the words that gone over the limit.

I thought to myself, okay, and went on to delete any unnecessary spaces that happened to be between the paragraphs, any words that could be made shorter, and now my essay is at the bare minimum.

AND THE ONLY THING THAT WON'T FIT IS THE VERY LAST PERIOD. :( :( :(
Do you think it would be okay if I left the last sentence hanging xD

I'm trying to figure out where I could delete an extra letter. This is making me sad.

its okayy glitters426. well its not okay if you're sending it over the internet because they'll know but they wont find out on paper because who has the time to count it?

But when I pasted it in, it said they had automatically deleted the words that gone over the limit.

^ are you sure you saw the word count that included the spaces? And the paragraphing stuff?

good luck with the period XD That happened in my groton app once, thank god it was a short answer not essay.

Haha yea, I'm sure. Thanks :( I just feel that my essay is as good as I can make it now, and the only thing stopping me is this darn period
