Admissions GPA

Hey,

just a quick question about the GPA law schools use to admit students:
is it strictly the undergrad gpa? is it the most recent one (i.e. graduate school gpa)? or can the student choose in the event that s/he has different degrees with different gpas?

Thanks.

Your official LSDAS gpa is frozen in time once you get you first BA/BS. You have to send transcripts from all institutions where you attended grad school as well, but the official one is based solely on undergrad and is calculated by the LSDAS. It may be slightly different than that awarded by your degree-granting alma mater. The details are available on the LSAC (Law School Admissions Council website.)
