<p>Please remember, stats are only a part of what is considered. Admissions staff know that passion, work ethic, character, and kindness cannot be quantified. These non-tangibles can be glimpsed in letters of recommendations, essays, and interviews. And then, there is the element of luck. In the end, most people thrive where they are planted. Exhale. <p>Did you have interviews with Skidmore? My son, living outside of the US, didn’t.</p>
<p>Othman, I am not sure he would want his stats publicized, but I will say that his test scores would have put him in the top 1% from what I can see on prior years. But Skidmore, like most of the better LACs, never make a decision based on stats alone. They practice holistic admissions decision-making. Be patient. I hope you will get into the colleges you want.</p>
<p>Vonama, no, he had no interview. He asked for one too late in the year, and we live on the west coast so they could not accomodate him. Good luck to you.</p>
<p>Skidmore Admissions facebook page said they mailed decisions today. International students will receive an email by Monday, followed by a packet. Domestic students receive US mail packet only.</p>
