Smith in an email: March 23
Boston University via email: March 17th through the admission’s portal
@overbearingmom Ouch, really? I hope none of their hopefuls with names near end of alphabet have anything important to do the following day.
my son’s will be at 3 am Pacific…and UCSC is in his top 5, but he’s already into two schools, so he said, I’ll check it the next morning. For the east coast, the first is at 3 am, but all done by the time they go to school.
@Anxiousdad53 Thanks for responding. I actually made a mistake, I was trying to reply to another poster, but forgot to put in their screen name and so it became a separate post. I was asking about UMich - I see acceptances are starting to roll out, we have not received anything yet.
@K8sMom We are also awaiting word from Conn. Their website just says “late March.”
Thanks @taverngirl. Last year I think they notified on 3/25 so I’m expecting that last week of march.
@K8sMom, I read that last year Muhlenberg decisions arrived snail mail by March 15th.
Any idea when UMich/UCSD/UCLA/UWisconsin Madison start releasing decisions?
Where did you get the date March 16 for Johns Hopkins? The admissions website states by April 1.
@Urbs15 On the JHU application status (more like financial status), it directly says:
“Regular Decision (RD) admissions notifications will be released on March 16, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. Eastern. Please return to this site at that time to log in and view your admissions decision.”
Hope this helps!
Son heard from CU Boulder and UCONN. Apparently, UCONN has been sending acceptances for about a week. Still haven’t gotten the mail, but the Portal’s updated
Johns Hopkins U. is March 16, not April 1
Carnegie Mellon U. 3/28/18
Boston University- March 17th
UNC deferred my DD for EA Premed
@PigletHome Just wondering but where did you hear CMU releasing decisions on March 28?
@CCadmin_Sorin can you update the OP with all the dates written in the thread, or can anyone make a collective reply every few days so we don’t have to flip through all the pages searching for a specific college to see if it’s there?
Cal State Fullerton - Feb 24th
My son is still waiting to hear from Cal Poly SLO, Cal Poly Pomona, and San Diego State. He got his acceptance “with distinction” to Cal State Fullerton on February 24th. I read something disheartening about Cal Poly SLO… apparently last year’s Freshman class is much larger than expected due to many applicants accepting offers of admission. As a result, Cal Poly SLO is going to be more conservative in offering spots to applicants over the next 4 years in order to keep the student population manageable.
Has anyone heard from Cal Poly SLO, Cal Poly Pomona, or San Diego State yet?
