What are some schools in the UK, that are have a good reputation overall? Im a B average student with very good ec’s. I don’t really want to get into the detail about my GPA in such. But what colleges do you think in the UK, might be worth checking out?
BTW I want to major in Economics.

London School of Economics?

Doubt I could get in, though overseas admissions is new to me.

You stand a better chance of getting in if you pay full fees than kids who pay EU fees. We have seen a difference of acceptance from UK schools for students who pay EU fees and those who are from other parts of globe who pay full fees. Weaker students seem to be getting in to major UK unis if they pay the higher fees.

LSE requires you to have at least 3 or 4 AP courses with a grade of 4 or 5. Also, LSE only looks at your SAT and AP scores, so your SAT score will be essential. To be competitive, i'd say you'd have to at least have a 1400, preferably higher. Admission into LSE is fierce. the admission rate varies from being around 10% to 30% depending on the course you apply to.

Guess I don't really have a chance there. What about University of Southhampton, or College University London?
