Admissions Process at Stabford v Ivy Leagues

At the Ivies, they use these academic ratings from 1-4 (1 being the best) and the 4 the worst, in three categories (personal qualities, academics, ec's)
Does Stanford use this system too?

oops

Stanford* :)

hmm... where did you hear about the whole rating system?

on the harvard forum

You sure that applies to all 8 schools?

that cant be right, because i know princeton uses a 5 point scale with 5 being the best and 1 being the worst.

Not all of them use the 4 point scale. I forgot which one, but one of them had a scale of 1-9..

Does it matter? Really?

UPenn and Dmouth are 1-9. Harvard is I believe 1-5. I have never heard of Stanford doing that bu

does it really matter, aren't they all basically looking for the same stuff as far as challenging course work, good grades, etc. except stanford gives athletic scholarships
