Admissions/ Stats Questions

After weeks of lurking, I figure I should just make an account and ask all my noob questions. I took a visit last month and I'm in love with the campus!

1) Is EA at Michigan a binding agreement?

2) I keep seeing people referencing whether they are in-state or OoS. How much of an effect does that have in the decision process? ( I am Out of state)

3) As far as senior year class scheduling, if I took classes like BC calc/Physics C junior year, would it still look bad if I didn't take higher level courses this coming year?

4) Is it a general admissions application, or are you also applying to specific colleges?

If these questions have already been asked thousands of times over, my apologies. Thanks in advance!

No.

If you are full pay or are expected to be full pay, not much.

Taking higher level classes looks better than not doing so. It’s certainly not required or expected that you do.

You apply to the specific college.
