Hello, I am a student at La Salle Catholic College Preparatory but am looking into transferring to Wilson, my local public high school, to spare my mother the financial burden that my father refuses to assist with. Would this hurt my application? My track record has been damaged already, most notably the first semester last year, which was my 10th grade, that I ended with a 2.7. Though I finished the year with a 3.6, I fear it would hurt my reputation more if I changed schools. I was hoping someone could confirm or deny this, it has been a goal of mine to make it into the Academy ever since I received the 2.7 GPA, so if you would not mind also answering whether or not you believe it is possible that would be fantastic. Transfer not an issue. Academy will look at your overall HS transcript. 2.7, what happened?
