<p>It’s the ratio of those admitted to those who applied. It isn’t neccissarily representative of one’s chance, because each applicant is different. For example a kid with a 2400 has a significantly better chance than a kid with a 900, who essentially has a slim chance. However, it can hepl gage how competitive a school is.</p>
<p>Some schools disclaim higher admit rates by having a smaller selection of well qualified applicants.</p>

<p>If these numbers are to be believed, CWRU’s acceptance rate is 74%!!
Anyone know if this is actually true that they only turn away 25% of the applicants?
I would’ve thought that Case is a “most competitive” school. …</p>
