I am a high school student From China and recived an email on Dec 11.
Congratulations! You have been provisionally admitted for the Fall 2010 semester. In order to clear your provisional admission, you must submit the following to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions:

FINAL OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT FROM HIGH SCHOOL SHOWING GRADUATION DATE (WHEN AVAILABLE)

"Official transcript" is defined as an official record prepared by the issuing institution, and sealed in the institution's official envelope. The official envelope should be printed or stamped with the institution's official logo. Also, an official stamp and/or official signature across the seal of the envelope is preferred. If a transcript is not received in this manner, it will not be considered official.
"Original" diplomas and other documents should be presented to LSU Admissions upon arrival to LSU, not sent by mail.
If you have not cleared your admission before you arrive at LSU, you must come to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions BEFORE you register for classes and pay your tuition.

blablalbalblablalbla.....
Welcome to LSU! We look forward to seeing you at the Orientation Session!

I want to ask how many chance can i gen golden oaks scholarship?

Yes, assuming you send the transcript and everything checks out (as it should) you are admitted. At least that’s what it looks like.

Yes, you should get the Golden Oaks award assuming you have a 3.0 GPA and also applied by the priority scholarship deadline.

I send scholarship officers so many emails.
They told me i have excellence chance to get Golden oaks scholarship, but they also said that they would 't be albe to gurantee scholarship to any students.

how could a student definitely get a scholarship?
Just meet requirement? also even must with luck lol
a chinese student told me that Lsu only award 10 golden oaks each year. If that way, i think i will not have chance to be considered for golden oaks scholasrhip. My sat score is just 1340 ( golden oaks requires 1330).SCholarhip office also said that 1330 is for US stuednts only , not apply to international students…So maybe, international students who want to get golden oaks must have a sat score at least 1450??
