Admitted Students Page - "Authorization Required" Page?

<p>Quick question - anyone else having difficulties accessing the admitted students page? I created my SUNet ID today without any glitches, but it's not letting me access the admitted students page. I mean, I can see the intro, but after you get past the intro and the login page comes up, I get a 401 Authorization Error.</p>

<p>I know it says "It may take up to 6 hours after creating your SUNet ID before you will be able to enter the Admitted Student Web site", but I just want to, you know, make sure I really was admitted. Any other admitted students having problems?</p>

<p>REA admit here: I can access the admitted students page right now, but in December it took a while before I could actually log in. I wouldn’t worry about it. Congrats!</p>

<p>When you register it says it might take up to six hours for you to be able to log in.</p>

<p>Yeah, I’m having the same problem. I was going to ask tech support about it but let’s hope the problem fixes itself. Let me know how long it takes you guys to get on. Can’t wait for admitted students’ day!</p>

<p>In my admissions email, it didn’t give me a University ID… how should I create it? Do I have to wait until I get my admit packet? Thanks!</p>

<p>The Stanford ID should be right under your name/address in the email. Follow the link (<a href=“http://admit.stanford.edu%5B/url%5D”>http://admit.stanford.edu</a>) and there are directions on there to create the SUNet ID… Congrats!</p>

<p>I’m having that same problem. Glad to know I’m not the only one. I kept checking my email to make sure I really got in :)</p>

<p>It was a little glitchy, but it’ll work if you directly follow the instructions in the e-mail that included your Stanford ID. </p>

<p>It is so ridiculously rewarding for your name and stanford.edu to be bolded together for an email address! </p>
