Adult with an LD going back to school

In high school i was in ED classes for a learning disability and social anxiety. I had an IEP going through high school and kinda forgot about it after graduating in 2005. In 2012 I went back to my old school to get a copy of my IEP because i got into college for motorcycle mechanics and read through it and it doesn’t mention why i had an IEP why i was in ED classes. All it had was my goals for the semester, the goals i failed to meet, the things i needed (calculator, notes for tests, etc.) and thats basically it. It also mentioned that i needed a followup in 2007, 2 years after i graduated. But i never heard of this or just don’t remember. The college i went to didn’t do anything about my IEP and didnt even know what an IEP was. Needless to say i barely graduated the 11 month course.

So I’m planning on going back to a different community college that honors IEPs and is a subject im better at which is computer repair with the option of transferring my credits to IT courses.

So…Is there any way I can get an updated IEP or anything like that?

IEP is a term that relates to elementary and secondary education. For college, you should check out local ones that have support for students with LD, not all will.
