My sister attended UCLA a few years ago and I come from a fairly well off family (around 500k income) - do these things increase my chances of being accepted? I’m just wondering if colleges like UCLA would factor this in as a significant/little advantage over other applicants is all!
UC’s do not consider legacy but they would not mind if you are full pay. You still need to have the GPA/Test scores, EC’s and outstanding essays to have a good chance at an acceptance.
As a backup look at top tier need aware schools
Absolutely no.
No:
a. UCLA has need-blind admissions
b. UCLA does not prioritize legacies
