(I'll be applying to the film production program, and yes, I know it's extremely competitive and you can't really evaluate my chances for the film school.)

As you said, it is very difficult to calculate your chances for the film school. Here is my personal opinion:

You have a very very strong chance of acceptance to USC. I would say around if not above a 75% chance. As for the film program, I don't really know how it works. I think if you were not to get into the film program, you would still be allowed to apply later while at USC?

Anyway, you are a very very strong candidate for USC. I love how you have taken college courses. That just tipifies your candidancy. Fight on!!

it seems to me that you'd be a lock, to the college in general at least...

thanks, anyone else?

the film school requires additional things besides just your grades, SATs, and a few essays when you apply. Just looking at your stats you'd probably get into USC, but the film school usually requires its applicants to submit a portfolio of work they've done (sketches, pictures, basically anything to better describe you). You don't need any prior film experience.

yeah i know... actually they said they dont want actual artwork, but there are some essays, extra recs, and a portfolio list needed.

anyone think i could get a scholarship?

i need one badly. :/
