Advice for a nontraditional student? To apply or not to apply?

Hello! I hope this college admissions process is going well for everyone so far. I was wondering if you could tell me whether or not I should apply. I consider my stats to be fairly good, but I’m concerned about not having SAT subject tests. Since I’m a homeschooled student, it states on W&M’s website that subject tests are “highly recommended.” To clarify, I did pretty poorly when I took them (690 on math 2) and due to financial circumstances, I could not afford to retake.

My stats without the SAT IIs are:

-1460 SAT (690 reading, 770 math)
-3.97 uw gpa
-ECs are average/above average
-essays should be pretty solid
-letters of rec are great and should be one of the best parts of my app due to having a great relationship with my teachers (I attend a program so I technically had teachers throughout my high school years)

Due to being homeschooled, I decided to take dual enrollment courses (chemistry, world history, psychology, precalc, physics, and calculus). I took 6 in total and received all As. I am also a male and in-state (i know being a male is a huge plus). I’m really hoping my dual enrollment courses make up for not submitting subject tests. Also, should I submit the 690 math 2 just to show I took one? Thank you!

I think it will help tremendously that you did well in your dual enrollment classes, which I am assuming were at a community college? That will show the admissions people that your grades are based on an external, objective standard.
