Advice for SAT Biology

I’m taking the test on December 1st but I have only take normal biology class last year, not honors or AP. I am self studying and I have the Barron’s book, Princeton Review, and the 2 College Board tests. Is there enough time for me to self study and do good on the test (750+), and if yes, how should I study? This will also be my first time taking a subject test.

Both the Barron’s and Princeton Review books will give you a good in-depth explanation and review of the topics that’ll be covered. You have over 3 months, so I’d suggest taking a diagnostics and then study the topics that you didn’t know or didn’t perform well.

Learn all the topics in those sections and others. The biggest topics include anatomy of plants and animals and ecological and molecular concepts. Space out your practice tests over these next months as checkpoints to where you are in studying.

When the test gets closer, around early to mid-Nov, I’d take the real CollegeBoard tests to get a really good indication of what your actual score will be. You definitely have enough time to study if you manage your time.

Best of luck!
