<p>I am hoping get some insight in what it is like for UC to UC transfers, and specifically from those who transferred to Berkeley. Is easy to adjust to the semester system? Is Berkeley much more competitive and harmful to your GPA than, say, Davis? How are the kids at Berkeley compared to the ones at your previous UC (cooperative, friendly, etc.)? Any interesting or useful information is welcome.</p>
<p>I have a cousin who went to Berkeley. I think she liked it, but I think she also was happy when she finished because of the general atmosphere. I’ve never been on the quarter system, but I think it wouldn’t be to hard to adjust to the semester system. Just divide your units by 1.5, realize that you are going to be taking more classes at a time (just at a slower pace), and accept the fact that during Spring break you might be doing homework.</p>
