I'm taking the SAT this November and I haven't taken any prep course. I had a private tutor for verbal and writing some time ago but I thought it's not very helpful, so I'm not having private lessons anymore. I'm thinking of taking a course but I'm not sure where I should go. Some friends have been to the obvious ones like Kaplan/Princeton Review and none liked it. Just wondering if there are better ones out there! I'm in the Bay Area, California so any specific recommendation in the area would be great. Thanks!!</p>

<p>I suggest you take a practice test before you consider going to a prep school. If you score above the ~2050 region then don’t bother. Prep schools only help so much. Practice, practice and practice.</p>
