Advice to all you Chicago Essay Writers

She might want to sing it note for note…

I don’t know what kind of dream world you are living in (mabe the CC one) but your logical reasoning is completely flawed. ACT range is 29-33. Your listed 33 is well above average in the 75th percentile. And there are MANY people that got in with 30s and even a few I’m sure with 29/28.

Yep. But chicago claims not to care about tests but grades instead and my grades weren’t all that stellar except that I took super hard classes.

But that doesn’t matter. the point is that essays matter. That’s all I was trying to say. Essays matter. A LOT. So if you have time…work on them! Make them represent who you are AND who you want to be.

My goodness guys, who cares what his grades and rank and course rigor and SAT and ACT were. Spiralcloud was just trying to spark some imagination for those who were having trouble writing essays. I thought it was some pretty good advice.

hmmm… I retract everything I say. I actually tried to delete my post, but alas, I don’t know how. Because you know what, this is ridiculous to fight about. Spiralcloud gave some advice and we can take it or not take it, but we don’t have the right to tell him off for what he has most graciously provided us with.
So spiralcloud, I’m sorry. I appreciate your thinking of us while we write our essays.

No problem! I just gave you guys a quick stats thing so you could put it in perspective.

Good luck! Oh, and…hehe i’m a girl =D It doesn’t matter, really. I just couldn’t help it…

Oh gosh sorry. I thought I remembered to be gender non specific. Obviously i FAILED. haha. my teacher one time told us that instead of put he/she you could always just write he. Though, I’m pretty sure that’s not right.

the academically correct way is she just so that feminists don’t b**** :P. As well, sorry spiralcloud, I shouldn’t have been so mean and I know that you had good intentions :).

Haha I wondered about that after I wrote my post but I couldn’t edit it. I always try and use he or she :)

no prob motion.
Good luck with your essays, everyone!

And yeah I don’t really care if you call me a guy. It’s just fun to point out slightly devious things sometimes to brighten up the mood a bit. =D
